Planked Rainbow or Brook Trout

Planked Trout

Serves 2

2 Whole Rainbow or Brook Trout

3 Tbs Olive Oil

Lawry's Seasoned Salt, to taste

Lawry's Lemon Pepper, to taste

2 Pre-Soaked Untreated Cedar Planks

  • Soak cedar planks in cool tap water for 1 - 2 hours before start time.

  • Pre-heat grill to medium heat (approximately 365 degrees).

  • Brush skin of trout with olive oil. Sprinkle Seasoned Salt and Lemon Pepper inside the cavity and on the skin of the trout.

  • Place trout on plank and place on grill. Cook for 25 minutes or until done.

  • Serve

Cooking Tips

For a dramatic presentation, serve fish on plank at the table
